A Little Bit About Us:

RibbonTurquoise.com is a project of Dillon and John Hartman of Durango, Colorado USA. We have been in the Turquoise and Jewelry Business since the 1960's. We know have partnerships in seven Turquoise mines in Nevada and cut and make jewelry from Turquoise mine as well as Turquoise we buy from old jeweler and rockhound's collections.

Most of the Ribbon or Boulder Turquoise available for purchase from this site is cut from Turquoise we mine such as the Boulder of Ribbon Turquoise in Dillon's Arms in the picture to the right. This Ribbon Turquoise is from the Pilot Mountain Mine outside of Mina, Nevada, which has two different claims. We are 50% partners in one of the two claims at Pilot Mountain. To our knowledge the other half of the mining area is owned by the Smiths of La Jara, Colorado.
